At Grace Episcopal Church in Alvin, our food ministry is about more than groceries —
it’s about dignity, relationship, and showing up when people are hurting.
What we’re doing is simple, but it’s powerful:
we meet real needs with real compassion — and we remind people they are not alone.

But we’re most proud of the people.

Friday mornings: hospitality for neighbors experiencing homelessness
For two years, every Friday morning we’ve been welcoming our neighbors experiencing homelessness
with hot breakfast, clean clothes, and warm showers — offering not just help, but hope and respect.
